Well, it's true that I am generally not a fan of raisins in baked goods (especially when they can be replaced with chocolate chips!). But I have actually baked this cake with raisins as well as with cranberries, and I didn't like either version. This cake just doesn't need anything else!

now I see that you did mention that in an earlier post. My reading comprehension skills are being tested and found lacking . . . have you ever tried the Nigella Lawson oatmeal cookies with white chocolate chips and cranberries?
